Review of Mavin Records’ new album ‘Solar Plexus’

So Don Jazzy and the rest of the Mavin Records crew, have released a new album (8th May) called ‘Solar Plexus’ which is apparently a part of the abdomen, including the stomach, that is vulnerable to punches (don’t know how though).

It is a good album, with contributions from all artists such as Dr SID, Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage and D’Prince.

Though most, if not all the beats, are upbeat tempo, excluding two- YOLO nad Amarachi, in which one can still sense Don Jazzy’s “traditional” side.

The famous producer claims to have produced the album in just 3 weeks. well one can applaude him for the spectacularly rushed outcome.

Be sure to download and listen. We await what else this new Mo’ Hits has in store for us, nevertheless, no one can deny that D’Banj was truly missed on this album, because if he featured, we all know his tracks would be hits. At the moment, we are rest assured he is cooking up something great for us and the international music market.
